a fond farewell

I fell asleep in the library again.

I need to stop studying so late.

I think I slept through my morning classes again.

Why am I so exhausted?

I suppose I should say hello

Oh! I love Tom Sawyer! I love Mark Twain’s irony! Oh, oui, Napoleon was a very interesting guy, indeed.

It’s really not when you think about it. Oh, oui, I’m sorry! I- I just assumed, but…thank goodness. I mean, I’m sure you’re wonderful. It’s just preferences. Well, I hope it all works out for you in the end.

Huckleberry Finn, too. Mark Twain is rather refreshing! I would like to meet some historical figures. Politicians, too, to get the dirt on what they thought of others, and scandals.

It still is; you aren’t ugly. Excuse me? Why exactly do you seem relieved that I don’t fancy you? Am I too homely for you, or too unlike the typical girls at this school?

Ugh, politics. Politics only make the peoples lives harder. However, I wouldn’t mind finding out a few scandals myself.

…merci. What? Oh! Oh, no, no, no. I don’t mean that you aren’t lovely or beautiful, because, well, you are. I just, uh…we had only just met! Like you said!

lbourdage-deactivated20120316 asked: Well, only if you'd like to! Though that would be totally lovely. Oh - as in date them? Or shag them... Or both?

I’d love too! Anything for a, uh, a friend. I’m…I’m not too sure. I don’t ask questions about it. I just continue to deny the invitations.

lbourdage-deactivated20120316 asked: You do? I suppose it would be difficult. I've never been too good at writing... How has Felix been?

Well, I, er, could help you with your writing? Oh, oui, Felix. He’s good. The same, per usual. He keeps trying to get me to go out with his friends…

Ha, I can read just about anything. Especially History books, but, um, I suppose that’s how I was raised. My mother use to read me fairy-tales…it what got me into reading so much. Oh, oui, I have. It was good…I’ve read better, but, um, have you?

O-oh, no. I’m not uncomfortable. I just, uh, I’m not use to…compliments. You- who you fancy? Who, who is that…exactly?

I have to read something interesting. Otherwise I just get bored, and I do not enjoy boredom. Oh, you like History? I suppose History is interesting, just not History of Magic. Napoleon seemed like an okay guy… and Charlemagne. Yes. Yes, I have read it! I do enjoy classic books. Tom Sawyer was entertaining, he really was. And The Catcher in the Rye!

You’re not used to compliments? That’s—wow, I’m surprised. Oh- I… Oh, wow. Wow. This is- I didn’t expect you to ask, and since I’m blushing, you probably think it’s you. It isn’t. Merde! I didn’t mean it like that, just… I just met you and- okay, it’s a seventh year Morstuer.

lbourdage-deactivated20120316 asked: Oh, it's no problem at all! I really just think everything will be okay for everyone. Oh. That sounds great! Fabien, really, I think that you'll do wonderful things. With writing or reading or whatever, really!

That’s why I enjoy your company, Louise. I know. It’s confusing. My mind is a little scattered as I plot out the story…it’s hard than it looks.

I can tell. You being outgoing, I mean. I’m always like, wanting to be by myself. I’m usually in the library.

Oh…oh, merci…um, I’m doing well this evening, thank you. How are you tonight?

I’m assuming you like to read, then. I enjoy reading, but it depends on the material. I won’t read a History of Magic textbook, for example. I’d rather read something fun, like, well. A fairy-tale. The original ones, of course. And classics, too. Have you read The Great Gatsby?

I’m sorry if I’ve made you uncomfortable, I seem to have that effect on shy people. Glad to hear you’re doing well. I’m doing alright, still high off of that effect you get when you talk to someone who you- well, who you fancy.
